Group Bookings & Private Functions
beach babylon is situated on the ground floor of 232 oriental parade directly across from oriental bay beach. groups of 25 or more are encouraged to order from our set menu. private functions are available for groups of 50 or more & are subject to a booking fee & minimum spend. christmas functions are available from mid-november for groups larger than 8 people. BYO (wine only) is available for christmas set menu bookings, but not for private functions.

with retro new zealand inspired cuisine we have a range of finger food & canapés or we can design a menu to suit your budget & tastes. we also have a large range of wines, tiki beach cocktails including an impressive rum selection & over 30 boutique beers to keep everyone happy. we have flexible bar tab options with subsidised, set priced & full bar tabs available.

- staff to help you create an effortless function & clean up afterwards
- a booking fee of $150*
- set-up & hire of a PA system with a microphone for $50 or a data projector for $100
*note: we have a minimum spend required, dependent on the date & start time. from $2000 sunday-thursday, friday & saturday nights from $3000. a higher minimum spend is applicable over the summer & christmas period. please email info@beachbabylon.co.nz for further information.

Bar Tabs
you can manage your bar tab in a number of ways
- open bar
- bar tab that includes selected drinks
- 50% subsidised tabs (50% paid by guest & 50% charged to your tab)
- set subsidised drinks prices (i.e. $2 beers & $3 wines with your guests paying $2 or $3 and the shortfall being charged to your tab)

the tropical hurricane (also popular) punch bowl white rum, fresh guava nectar, mango nectar, passionfruit syrup & fresh lime; a mouth-watering whirlwind of tropical flavours
non-alcoholic tropical punch bowls are available for $50
